Why I Started CJB Comfort

Hi, I’m Cornell Hart, owner of CJB Comfort in Chandler, Arizona. I’ve spent more than 25 years working in both commercial and residential HVAC, helping families and businesses stay comfortable in the Arizona heat.

I started CJB Comfort to create the kind of HVAC company I would want working in my own home.

Over the years, I saw too many homeowners feeling rushed, pressured, or confused about what their system actually needed. Important decisions were being made without clear explanations — and that never sat right with me.

CJB Comfort was built around a simple idea: slow things down, explain what’s going on, and let people make informed decisions about their own homes.

Before starting CJB Comfort, I served in the United States Air Force as a certified HVAC/R Journeyman. For nearly seven years, I maintained mission-critical mechanical systems where reliability and attention to detail weren’t optional.

That experience shaped how I approach HVAC work today — careful diagnostics, clear communication, and a refusal to cut corners. When I work on your home, I treat your comfort with the same seriousness I brought to systems that had to work no matter what.

After my time in the Air Force, I continued working in HVAC across both residential and commercial environments. Over the past 25+ years, I’ve diagnosed and repaired thousands of systems in homes, offices, warehouses, and retail spaces.

That broad experience means I understand not just how systems are designed, but how they actually perform over time — and what truly makes sense for homeowners in the long run.

We are qualified through the Efficiency Arizona program and operate an Apprentice Program certified by the State of Arizona.
